I am a photographer, adventurer, and people lover living in Washington, DC, with my husband and beautiful daughter, Giselle. I love the evening light in Andalusia, Dakar at the break of dawn and Mediteranean beaches in September. I have a bit of an obsession with crisp bed linens, cold bottles of Pellegrino and fresh gazpacho. I make a mean peanut soup.

Before being reincarnated as a photographer, I worked in international development for USAID. In an even earlier life, I helped deliver babies as a peace corps volunteer in West Africa and spent time working around the world photographing a range of subjects including emigration and religion.

I see so much beauty, mystery, adventure and romance in life and I'll see them in your day.
